Bad Cold War cartoon: Castro, Kennedy fire missiles at each other.

After finishing this drawing yesterday, I realized that the historical significance of this matchup might not only be lost on some of you, but not interesting and perhaps in bad taste to most of you as well.
So, uh, lets just talk about the fabulous entertainment our favorite team gave us last night.

It's Tyler Colvin Bobblehead Giveaway Night at Wrigley!

It absolutely freaks me out how talented the artisans are who individually hand-craft bobblehead dolls.
The patience and skill involved...I think at Northwestern and Stanford you can get a degree in bobblehead.
If they made a tv show about it, the opening would borrow from "Kung Fu", and the student would have to walk across rice paper and snatch the pebble from that old blind dude's hand.
And that's before they can even think about picking up a paintbrush or sitting at a potter's wheel or blowing glass or whatever.

"Geo Tagging" with Geovany Soto

For you and me, "geo tagging" means putting geographical information on things like a video or a photo, so when people see it online they know where it was taken.
But for Geovany Soto, "Geo Tagging" has nothing to do with a camera or a computer, and it doesn't happen in the digital world.
Because when Geo tags something, it'll feel some pain even if it's a baseball.

Cubs on Doodle Jump would ease ST angst

Don't know about you, but with all this prolonged and intense ST Cubs scrutiny, my brain hurts a little.
The Carlos Silva thing - whether you think he was fairly treated or not - I'm just glad it's over.
Yeah, drama always makes things fun, but there's enough to worry about besides that guy.
So much so, I decided to shut my mind down for a bit by playing a little Doodle Jump over the weekend.
Which is when it occurred to me that it would make an awesome Cubs game.
