why in the hell wasn't garza bunting on the 1st pitch with a man on 1st, 0 out, and down by 1...especially if they wanted him to finish the ab bunting...i hope someone missed a sign and it wasn't just creative managing. some of this aggressiveness is odd.

if everything we've seen so far is an indication we're going to see a lot of mid-90 to 110 pitch starts. there's only 2 110+ pitch starts this year out of all the starters.

he probably could have gone more, but his control/stuff wasn't all that today anyway (and welly didn't help much as noted elsewhere in this thread).

ARam just misses a HR, as his double hits the yellow line in CF and bounces back in...but drives in Braun after a walk.

Marmol tweaks his ankle or knee when his landing foot catches a clete on the mound. Throws a few practice pitches and gets taken out of the game.

Not just that pitch but the whole at bat was terrible. I think Castro made the decision to swing at that first pitch on the way to the batters box from the on deck circle.
