Can any good come of my trying to post a game thread?

Nope, as we just saw.
Fucking Theriot. Two botched caught stealings. How are you gonna defend him now, MikeC?

I really think besides Theriot's misplay, Lou should have pulled Zambrano for either the Kent or Martin at bat. Lou had talked about not extending Carlos yet he ends up throwing 107 pitches? Very strange indeed. Tomorrow's game becomes a big game now to clinch a winning road trip.

Lou did say that, but he also said that he was going to extend his starters on this turn through the rotation to try to protect the bullpen. I assume that's what he was trying to do today.

So are we going to see Marquis forced to go 7 tomorrow? Eeek the very thought of it gives me the dry heaves.

What a miserable set of games to be at. I probably shouldn't go since I'm causing such bad mojo but I don't think anything matters when Marquis pitches.

I remember hearing about a cure for that somewhere. It was somehow connected to baseball. Damn! If only I paid more attention.

Didnt see the game. But I will point to his .323 average, .404 OBP through the first 2 months of the season for cool 300k.
For sure, more good than harm when he plays. Or fuck it bring back Neifi....I loved the sub .300 OBP from him for 2-3 million a year. Those were good times, good times indeed.
