Jeff Samardzija had a pretty amazing night last night.
Dexter Fowler not so much.

What do you call this stretch of time in Chicago Cubs' history anyway?
(I'm talking about the team playing in the Major League ballparks, of course.)
Is it The Intermission?
Growing Pains?
The 105th Year Stretch?
Even though most of us kind of shrug through these games, it's nice to see some kind of emotion displayed once in awhile.
Which was why I was so happy to watch an animated Dale Sveum run out of the dugout and argue for his pitcher.

It's 2013.
If you're a Cub Fan and you don't have a sense of humor, you're in the wrong line of work.

GO CUBS!!!

This story is already so old and stupid I apologize for putting it up.

It's Oscar Night and as I'm sure many of you know, our own Theo Epstein has Hollywood royalty in his family tree.

Very early in the life of this story but...I'm just sayin'.

I like Jim Harbaugh.
He's had his ups and downs.
You can't forget the Mike Ditka insani-tirade in that awful Bears loss to the Vikings with the Harbaugh audible, the interception, and the 20 to nothin' Bears lead in the 4th going poof.
