Not sure I get it... he and Soriano are the only guys slugging over .400 - do you want Soriano in there? If so, where do you hit Castro.

C-Pat with another huge day crushing the WSux today and a 14th inning winning HR yesterday. He's over .300 with 24 rbi. I'm glad to see him get some success especially over the Comisculars.

now that the Mariners are in 2nd and back to .500, they might have some use for Fukudome and the Silva money back for a prospect. Campana's speed is a nice addition, sure makes more sense to lead him off though. Snyder (and probably Colvin shortly) can hold down RF and I'd surely be less depressed about watching someone who will be gone next year. 2-2, thanks to Campana's speed.

i like barney...i think he's superior bench and a great guy to weather an injury to a starter being a replacement. i don't mind him playing now. he's hot now and supposedly j.baker is banged up a bit. i don't think he's the future, though. i don't think he can sustain respectable production long-term at the plate.

Someone must have slipped me a Mickey, did ARam just hr?

Q does need to get Castro out of the 3 hole, he doesn't have the power to hit there yet. Barney's run production on mostly singles is amazing, but that kind of thing likely can't last either. Somewhere yesterday they speculated Jeff Baker would be a good bench fit with Boston.

can we quit pretending castro is a #3 hitter yet? maybe when he's 23+ or something =p ...and how much longer can d.barney coast on those singles? even his "mini-slumps" are starting to erode his overall numbers. hell of a RBI return on those singles out of the 2 slot, though.

big week for snyder; been on stand-by for the birth of a child; #1 i think...

snyder in CF would be funny as all hell...well, if he played for the other team. he's a little ways and a few years removed from the 210-220 he used to weigh.

neat...first i thought i'd miss the whole game...then just a few hours...now i might get to see all of this amazing team do their thing.

I didn't hear a start time but Len just implied they would start in maybe 30 mins or less, 3:45 ish. Tarp is off the field and grounds crew is cleaning up.

Len just popped on TV and said, "Hopefully once this (rain) passes, we'll be ready to go in a couple of hours." Radar has the rain moving through, but Len's probably right, at least another hour or longer, then the time to get the field ready, maybe start after 4? http://www.accuweather.com/us/radar/re/il_/radar.asp
